The Australian Local Government Association (ALGA) has announced well-known entrepreneur and Australian businessman, Mark Bouris AM, will be the headline keynote speaker at next month’s National General Assembly in Canberra.
As a respected finance, lending and economics commentator and TV personality, Mr Bouris will share his insights and wisdom on 25 June on ‘Australia and the New Geoeconomic Landscape’.
ALGA says the presentation will be a major highlight of hashtag#NGA25, which has a theme of ‘National Priorities Need Local Solutions’.

There’s less than a week left to secure early bird tickets for the event, which be held from 24-27 June at the National Convention Centre.
“We have an exciting line-up of high-profile guest speakers, hosts and panellists for this year’s event, which includes the Regional Cooperation and Development Forum on Tuesday 24 June,” said ALGA President, Matt Burnett.
“I urge you to stay for the final day on Friday 27 June, where we will invite newly-elected federal Ministers to outline their plans for working with local government.
“This session will be hosted by political commentator David Speers from ABC Insiders to create insightful discussions between delegates and Ministers.”
