Local Government NSW (LGNSW) is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Policy Officer to represent the interests of councils and communities in water and transport policy and other policy areas.
The successful applicant will also engage closely with key policy makers in the NSW and Commonwealth Governments.
Reporting to the Chief Economist, the Senior Policy Officer will play an integral role within the Advocacy Division. The role involves research, development and advocacy of policies and strategies in consultation with councils and other stakeholders. The role focuses on roads and transport, water and disaster management policy with opportunities to expand your horizons into many other vital policy areas.
The salary range for this position starts at $119, 201 (excluding superannuation).
