Inner West Mayor, Darcy Byrne, will convene a roundtable meeting of church leaders tomorrow to discuss what role they can play in the upcoming Voice to Parliament referendum.
In a statement, the Council said ministers and priests from several different Christian denominations including the Reverend Bill Crews, will join Jewish, Buddhist and Hindu leaders to discuss how their communities can play a role in educating the community about the crucial importance of the Uluru Statement from the Heart and the Voice to Parliament.
The round table has been convened by Mayor Byrne and Sydney Alliance as part of the Inner West’s ongoing civic education program.
