A new inclusive playground at Tanunda Recreation Park has been officially opened by The Barossa Council.
Council says the new intergenerational playground has been designed for kids of all ages with a variety of adventure, sensory and creative play spaces to explore.
Features of the playground include a flying fox, trampolines, climbing and elevated play, slides, swings, and sand and water play.
Plenty of shade and seating, toilets, barbecues and a water fountain make it the perfect place to spend the whole day, Council said in a statement.
The $1.1 million playground was made possible by State Government grant funding of $330,000 and a Council contribution of $782,000 as part of The Big Project.
