Edward River director resigns

Edward River Council Director Corporate Services, Shelley Jones, has resigned from the organisation to pursue a new opportunity in the NSW Southern Highlands region.

Interim Chief Executive Officer, Gary Arnold, thanked Mrs Jones (pictured) for her
“significant contribution” to the Council in her almost two years in the role.

“Shelley’s leadership has been instrumental in driving positive cultural change to
strengthen the delivery of outcomes across the broad corporate portfolio,” he said.

“She has been an invaluable member of the Council team during her time here at Edward River.”

Mr Arnold said Ms Jones’ notable achievements with the Council include the progression of its Growth Strategy project, a renewed focus on governance and compliance obligations, and leadership of a significant program of organisational review across key focus areas of corporate strategy, leadership, corporate systems and processes, and people and culture.

“On behalf of the Council, I thank Shelley for her leadership and commitment to this organisation and the community during her time as Director Corporate Services. We wish her every success in her new role,” he said.
