The NSW Department of Primary Industries will this month host a Paddock to Planning forum developed to initiate a conversation with and between councils about agricultural land use conflict topics of interest.
The Department says the focus of the webinar will be about managing dual occupancies, secondary dwellings, and rural workers dwellings on rural lands.
At the forum, councils will have the opportunity to:
- Share experiences, knowledge, and outcomes with other councils in addressing land use conflicts for dual occupancies, secondary dwellings, and rural workers’ dwellings on rural lands, including lessons learnt.
- Contribute to discussions to enable NSW DPI to better understand council approaches to managing dual occupancies, secondary dwellings, and rural workers’ dwellings, enabling input to government policy settings.
