City of Moreton Bay Council has launched a new library program designed to engage the community and inspire a love of reading – especially among men.
Launched in partnership with the Dolphins NRL team, ‘Phlipping the Pages’ will run across all Moreton Bay libraries through to the start of the 2026 NRL season.
Participants can receive free library cards featuring Dolphin’s players Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow, Herbie Farnworth, and mascots Phinny and Sandy, enjoy footy-themed event activations, pose with life-size cutouts of Dolphins players and access the full suite of library resources.
Mayor, Peter Flannery said he was excited to see the Phlipping the Pages program kick off across the City.
“Our libraries are for everyone, and Phlipping the Pages is a fantastic way to make them more accessible and welcoming, especially for boys and young men who may not regularly visit,” he said.
“Although our mighty Dolphins just missed out on the top eight, Phlipping the Pages is a true winner for our community.
