West Arnhem Regional Council, Elected Members and staff have farewelled outgoing Deputy Mayor Anna Egerton of the Kakadu Ward who is relocating from Jabiru to Darwin.
In a statement, Council said Ms Egerton had been a passionate and resilient Councillor with the West Arnhem Regional Council since 2015, and was elected as Deputy Mayor, standing alongside Mayor Matthew Ryan, in 2017.
At the Ordinary Council Meeting on 16 December, Councillor Elizabeth Williams from the Kakadu Ward was appointed as incoming Deputy Mayor.
