Deadline looms for NSW Local Government Week Awards

Has your council undertaken successful projects, campaigns and plans that have made a significant benefit to your community? Time is ticking to submit your applications for the Local Government Week Awards.

The Awards recognise the outstanding achievements made by councils and individuals within local government and acknowledges the efforts of councils in forging relationships of excellence with their communities. 

Councils are welcome to submit an entry in one or more of the award categories. 

  • Leo Kelly OAM Arts and Culture Award
  • LGNSW Planning Award
  • RH Dougherty Events and Communications Award

Councils enter and are judged within their division: 

  • Division A: population less than 30,000
  • Division B: population 30,000 – 100,000
  • Division C: population more than 100,000
  • Division D: JOs, ROCS and County Councils and other associate members.
