The NSW Electoral Commission has today completed a countback to determine the person who will fill a vacant councillor role on Lithgow City Council.
The result will see Steve Ring return to the Council. Mr Ring was first elected to the Council in 2016.
“The countback process has been smoothly and efficiently managed by the Commission, at a much lower cost than a city-wide by-election,” said Mayor, Maree Statham.
“It is a busy time for the Council, so it is encouraging that we have returned to a position where all councillor positions are filled.”
