The Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) has officially declared elected the candidates for the Alpine Shire Council.
The successful candidates are (in order of election):
- Sarah NicholasÂ
- John AndersonÂ
- Gareth GrahamÂ
- Peter SmithÂ
- Noah TanzenÂ
- David ByrneÂ
- Jean-Pierre RoncoÂ
Candidates will be sworn in as Councillors on Thursday, 14 November when they take the Oath or Affirmation of Office.
Alpine Shire Council Chief Executive Officer, Will Jeremy, congratulated the seven candidates and extended his sincere thanks to the previous Councillors for their contribution to the Alpine Shire.
“The previous Councillors were a high-performing and cohesive team, with a strong focus on delivering the best for our community,” he said.
“We look forward to supporting our new Councillors to achieve their full potential as a team and deliver exceptional outcomes across the Alpine Shire.”
