City of Stonnington Councillors voted last night to re-elect Councillor Jami Klisaris as Mayor for 2022-23 – her third term as Mayor of the city – with Councillor Melina Sehr returned as Deputy Mayor.
“I am deeply honoured to be re-elected Mayor for a third term and I thank my fellow Councillors instilling their trust and faith in me to serve another year,” Mayor Klisaris said.
“I have lived in Stonnington for almost my entire life, the love and passion that I have for this area and community runs deep, therefore it is not lost on me how incredibly special it is to lead this community for another year.
“I’m looking forward to building on everything we’ve achieved over the past 12 months. Continuing to focus on community and economic recovery remains a priority, as does our building program,” she said.
