Central Coast Council has partnered with 22 eateries to deliver two community events – the Taste of Wyong, Wyong Town Park on Saturday 8 June, and the Taste of Toukley, in the Toukley Village Green on Saturday 22 June.
Council Director of Community and Recreation Services, Melanie Smith said both events were designed to promote the fantastic array of local food offerings from local businesses and will offer a sensory experience for everyone.
“Each location will also have family friendly activities including workshops, craft activities, a petting zoo, circus play, roving performers, along with live entertainment and more,” she said.
“To support local businesses, I invite everyone in our community to bring along your family and friends and enjoy the wonderful Taste of Wyong and Taste of Toukley events.”
Central Coast Council Administrator, Rik Hart said the two upcoming placemaking events across the Wyong and Toukley town centres would benefit local businesses and the broad community.
“The Taste of Toukley and Taste of Wyong support the promotion of local businesses while boosting the local economy – turning our town centres into exciting destinations for locals and visitors alike,” Mr Hart said.
“These events are part of Council’s strategy to improve and sustain our wonderful community hubs.”
