Blacktown City Council has issued a statement after a car ploughed into the front fence of its Marayong Long Day Care Centre this morning.
“Fortunately, there were no injuries, and all children and staff are safe and accounted for,” a Council spokesperson said.
“Upon the incident, an ambulance was called to assist the driver, who had reported a medical incident after exiting the vehicle.
“The driver is currently receiving medical attention, and police will be attending the site later today.”
Senior staff from Council’s Kid’s Early Learning team are onsite ensuring the wellbeing of children and staff, the spokesperson said.
