Camden Mayor pedals free sustainability program

Mayor of Camden, Ashleigh Cagney is all set for a free bike check and tune-up as part of the Council’s ‘Live It Up, Live It Green’ program.

Camden’s popular sustainability event, run in conjunction with Revolve Recycle, will take place at Julia Reserve Community Centre on Saturday 9 March from 10am to 2pm.

Mayor Cagney, is encouraged local residents to come along for a free tune up, and the opportunity to take part in a host of ativities.

“Live It Up, Live It Green has been a crowd favourite and that’s why we’re proud to bring it back for this year,” she said.

“Everything on offer will help you live a more sustainable life with plenty of fun for people of all ages to enjoy.”

The FREE family-friendly event includes:
 Snake and reptile show;
 Free bike check and tune-up with Revolve Recycle;
 Gardening workshops and giveaway;
 Visit from Fire and Rescue NSW;
 Alan Baker Art Gallery art workshops;
 Sustainable living and waste information;
 Sydney Water ‘Wonders of Water’ Discovery Van;
 Waste truck experience;
 Second-hand book giveaway;
 Free face painting; and
