City of Burnside Council has secured close to $40,000 in Federal Government funding to support a new wheelchair squash program for the city.
As part of the Australian Sports Commission Play Well Participation Grant Program, the Council is one of 29 to receive funding, and the only metro council in South Australia to share in over $10 million of funding nationwide.
The new wheelchair squash program will be held in the Kensington Community Leisure Centre, 342 The Parade, Kensington Park, in partnership with Squash Australia, Squash SA and YMCA SA.
