Leading demographer, Bernard Salt, will speak at a free business breakfast event in Port Fairy next month.
The renowned social commentator and business analysis will be a guest of Moyne Shire
Council and leading local businesses at the event and will speak about how social and cultural changes are shaping the way we live and the opportunities that change presents.
Mayor of the Moyne Shire, Ian Smith said the morning would be a great way for Moyne
Business to learn about developing trends and how they can capitalise on them.
“Bernard grew up in Terang and has gone on to become one of the leading social commentators in the country,” Mayor Smith said.
“It’s great to be able to team up with Commerce Moyne, the newly formed shire wide chamber of commerce, Wannon Water, Earth and Water Technologies, Bamstone and Southern Ocean Mariculture to bring Bernard to the region.
“It will present a unique opportunity for local business to hear from a leading business analyst and demographer with a unique understanding of our region. I’d encourage everyone to head along.”
Mayor Smith said the breakfast event would be held on Monday November 14 at Charlies on East, Hughes Avenue, Port Fairy at no cost.
