Bass Coast drives Cape Paterson traffic plan

Bass Coast Shire Council is preparing a Local Area Traffic Management Plan for Cape Paterson in a bid to understand and better improve traffic throughout the town.

Council is seeking feedback from the public about their experiences of transport and road safety in Cape Paterson. The consultation will run from the 13 June to 4 July.

“The Local Area Traffic Management Plan for Cape Paterson seeks to understand and recommend improvements to make it easier and safer to get around the township,” Council said in a statement.

“This will be done by reviewing existing conditions, evaluating traffic, parking and crash data and considering feedback from the community to determine trends and priority changes.

“We want to hear from all road users including drivers, pedestrians, cyclists, people using mobility devices and commercial vehicle operators.”
