Bass Coast Shire Councillor, Clare Le Serve was recently recognised for 10 years of service at the Municipal Association of Victoria’s (MAV) Councillor Service Awards.

The awards celebrate the achievements, commitment, and dedication of long-serving councillors across the state.

The Western Port Ward Councillor (pictured) is currently serving her third term, having represented the Leadbeater Ward from 2012 to 2016 and then the Western Port multi member Ward 2016 – 2020 and 2020 – current.

“What a brilliant achievement” said Mayor, Michael Whelan.

“Serving our community for the four year term of a Council is a great honour for councillors however a ten year term deserves a high amount of recognition for Cr Le Serve.
