Balranald Shire Council’s new Chief Executive Officer, Terry Dodds PSM, has this week commenced in the role.
Mr Dodds (pictured) has close to three decades of senior leadership experience in local government, including as CEO at Murray River and Tenterfield Shire Councils in NSW and, more recently, as CEO of Livingstone Shire Council in Queensland.
“Terry has a reputation of shaping successful organisations by building a positive staff culture,” said Mayor, Louie Zaffina.
“Councillors are confident that Terry will continue the positive developments that commenced with the return of the elected Council in October last year.
“Terry’s familiarity with, and connections in, the region from his time at Murray River Council will help him settle in very quickly.”
